Starting a game
Place stones on line intersections, including edges and corners. Place one per turn; stones already played cannot be moved freely.
You can choose colors by nigiri: one player holds some stones and the other guesses odd or even, using an agreed rule to assign colors. Then choose your child’s color on the home screen. Black always starts a normal empty-board game, then colors alternate. If your child has White, you play Black first.
A 9-, 13- or 19-line board has that many lines in each direction. Choose the size that matches your real board. Tap an intersection, or choose a column then a row. This only previews the point; a move enters the record after confirmation.
